Redbox, General Mills, and Circle K collaborated to introduce a partnership program aimed at fostering enthusiasm for a range of General Mills products. Under this initiative, customers who purchased designated General Mills items at Circle K stores were entitled to a complimentary movie night experience courtesy of Redbox. Additionally, customers who purchased multiple eligible products were able to participate in an exclusive sweepstakes by entering their phone number at the Circle K register. This sweepstakes offers participants the chance to win tickets to the prestigious Redbox Bowl event.

Kiosk & Print

We capitalized on the space available on our kiosks to drive awareness of the program. This included prominently displaying our recognizable G-Sticker above the screen for enhanced visibility. Furthermore, we seamlessly incorporated messaging about the program into our vend screen interface, delivering an overview to customers as they await their movie rental.

Web & Email

We leveraged our extensive email user base by sending targeted emails outlining the program's features and benefits. Additionally, we strategically placed run-of-site (ROS) banners on our website, positioned across various sections of the webpage. This approach effectively sparked interest surrounding the promotion, thereby enhancing engagement and awareness among our audience.

App & Social

In lieu of leveraging social media platforms, our campaign strategically utilized the Inbox Message feature within our mobile application to display information regarding the program, thereby targeting our existing user base more directly and effectively. Additionally, we implemented an SMS text messaging campaign to highlight the opportunity for users to qualify for a chance to win a trip to the Redbox Bowl. This approach aimed to optimize user engagement and increase participation by leveraging direct communication channels.

Retail

Circle K effectively utilized their register screens to incorporate messaging about the Redbox program. However, it primarily served as a platform for customers to input their phone numbers for a chance to win a trip to the Redbox Bowl.
