During this promotion, customers were presented with the opportunity to uncover prizes hidden within select Redbox kiosks at Walmart locations nationwide. Discreetly placed within movie cases, printed discs housed a unique code and corresponding phone number, prompting participants to text for prize confirmation. From complimentary movie nights to the prestigious grand prize of a seven-day cruise tailored for a family of four, the array of rewards offered an engaging and rewarding experience for all involved.
Kiosk & Print
We strategically leveraged the space on our kiosks to effectively promote the program. This entailed the placement of our signature G-Sticker above the screen, ensuring maximum visibility. Additionally, we seamlessly integrated messaging into our vend screen interface, presenting customers with a synopsis of the program during their wait for the movie rental to dispense.
Web & Email
To engage our extensive Redbox email subscriber base, we employed targeted email campaigns linking to a dedicated landing page with program details and prizes. Additionally, we utilized ROS ads on our website to raise awareness without compromising user experience and excessive use of screen real estate. These strategies aimed to maximize engagement while ensuring a seamless online journey for our customers.
App & Social
In recognition of the immense impact of social media on modern business, we strategically utilized Facebook and Instagram to promote our program. Our approach encompassed a compelling Facebook post driving traffic to our landing page and an engaging Instagram story to build excitement.
